This retrofit design added green stormwater infrastructure to a veterans’ home with six acres of building roofs and site pavement. Interpretive exhibits near bioretention gardens, linear bioswales, and rain gardens were added to describe the new infrastructure that manage and infiltrate the 2.5 million gallons of rainwater that falls on the site annually.
